Hidden in the small town of Cambria but huge on flavor and customer service !!!! Just alone the front staff made my day.... He was helpful and had several suggestions and did not seem annoyed by asking " what do you recommend " like other servers hate to answer!! Loved that he spoke Spanish because it made my mother feel really comfortable and it's great to see someone engaging with all types of people....
We literally downed our smoothies I had the beet, orange and apple smoothie amazing !!!! For lunch we ordered the Ferrari which my daughter enjoyed, my mother had the Tulum... well she didn't share.. so I figured it was really good lol and I had the French Onion and loved it !!!! As a side we ordered the Lentil soup and my 2 year old gremlin devoured it !!!! I love sopa de lentejas!!!!
Will totally come back !!!! -

We came here after a trip to Moonstone Beach to grab an early dinner. We ordered the Ferrari and a berry crepe along with a mango smoothie, very berry smoothie, an orange juice, and a fruit bowl. Everything was made fresh including the orange juice! The water was cucumber water if you're into that. They had decent size portions that we were able to share and the quality was amazing. The server was also really good and checked in frequently.
The downfalls: despite the breeze outside and the door being open when we got there, it was uncomfortably hot inside.
My fork was bent to the point that I could barely use it, meant to point it out but totally forgot, luckily the were other forks on the table.
Being a small restaurant, there is only one restroom with no changing table. This is a big one for me having two kids in diapers, we had to change them in the car. Also the restroom is huge so there would be room for one.
The water cups were tiny mason jars. My sons water cup looked to be twice the size of mine to the point that it was almost comical.
The menu could have been more specific about the seasoning in the roasted potatoes (they were a bit spicy for me) and about the orange juice being fresh since it takes longer, but we also could have asked.
Overall, a good stop, good food, and great customer service. -

Went here after the Hearst castle visit and needed some easy fix before driving back to Bay Area for 4 hours. There were not many choices because it's like 3:30pm and many places were closed and they were not reopened until 5pm.
I saw this place has very good review so we went there. It's a cute small place in town. Seems a family owned restaurant. They only open from 9-5 by the way.
We ordered the philly cheese steak crepe and chicken wrap. You can choose potato's, salad or soup. The chicken wrap was good. It came with lots of veggie inside. Chicken was also marinated. But the philly cheese steak crepe was a little bit disappointed. There were a few piece of "steak" inside. I don't like the cheese sauce on the crepe. Not real cheese.
The owner was nice and friendly. But I cannot say he was helpful. I was debating what to get and I asked him for advice. I got "it's up to you." i was looking at the pictures on yelp, he said "that's pretty much everything there." -

What a nice, nice ... Spot to come into out of the cold.
My hubby and I had planned on spending some time down by San Simeon Pier, but the wind, cold and damp (in mid-May, mind you!) made that impractical, so we needed to find something, and somewhere, warm.
We decided to try The Spot and were not disappointed. The view from their balcony was just lovely; the interior was cozy, clean, warm and comfortable; the service kind and attentive; and our meals very tasty. My hubby had the Chicken Coop Crepe and chicken hominy soup, I had The Spot salad, and we both had the Manguava Smoothie (delicious).
To help fight off what felt like a cold coming on due to spending more time out in the inclement weather than we should have, I also ordered one of their juices to go - the Heartbeet - a healthy concoction of beets and other vegetables. Well, an extra star because it obviously did the trick. After drinking it and taking a nap, I think I may have dodged whatever it was that was trying to catch me.
Thank you, good folk of The Spot. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit to Cambria. -

My husband and I were in town for the week and after reading the great reviews on Yelp, we decided to have breakfast here. We were greeted by who I assume was the owner. She was very friendly and attentive. We ordered coffee, the Açaí bowl and the banana toast. The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time. This place will definitely be our "go to" the next time we're in town.
